Bloodflowers_

On this rare occasion, the title ‘bloodflowers’ materialised before the painting. I clearly saw red flowers intertwined with a barbed wire linked with a blood-like liquid pooling at the bottom.

However, when only partially completed, my wife Anne decided she liked it as it was, and the blood and wire would defile it. I gave in, and it is now hers.

I did, however, keep the title. 😉
